Minister of the Gospel:
Alfred White has been happily married to Mary White for . They have a host of grandchildren and children that you may meet any Sunday or other church event. They are often seen working to share the gospel of Christ not only at Hebron Avenue but through their community service efforts.
“Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to constantly work alongside and for orphans and widows in their affliction, despite any costs, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.” James 1:27 KJV
Teachers and Leaders:The congregation has a staff of brothers that teach Sunday School, Bible and rotate to assist the minister in delivering the Word of God.
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Matthew 28:19-20 KJV
BECOMING A MEMBER OF THE CHURCH OF CHRIST
We are not a “denomination” that you join. You are added to the body of Christ or the church of Christ, when you decide to become God’s possession by understanding and obeying the Gospel.
The Gospel, also known as the Good News of Jesus Christ, “saves us” (Gal. 3:26-27). It describes the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ (I Cor. 15:1-4).
To be added to the church of Christ,

there are 5 acts to complete.
1) Hear the Gospel
(Romans 10:17)
2) Believe the Gospel
(Hebrews 11:6)
3) Repent of your past sins (Acts 2:38)
4) Confess Jesus Christ as God’s son (Matthew 10:32)
5) Be Baptized in water for the remission (washing away) of your sins (Acts 2:38)
Completing these acts means you have become God’s possession and a member of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (the saved).
